Three simple steps
From your camera roll to a dated copy
Choose a photo
Select an original HEIC or HEIF file from Files, or choose a JPEG or PNG. Your original stays unchanged.
Check the date
Review the detected capture date, then choose the stamp format, position, and style.
Save your copy
Download a dated JPEG, or save several photos together in a ZIP. No photo uploads.
A few things to know
Keep the memory. Check the date.
The tool reads the original capture date when it is available. If it is missing, the file’s last-modified date is used and flagged in the editor. Always check the date before exporting.
The export is a still JPEG. Live Photo video, HDR, depth information, and the original metadata are not included. Some HEIF files cannot be converted; save a JPEG from Photos and try again.
Accepts HEIC, HEIF, JPEG, and PNG. HEIC/HEIF files can be up to 40 MB each; use small batches on phones.
Before you start
Is this free?
Yes. Add timestamps to up to 5 photos per batch without an account. Pro adds unlimited batches, custom date controls, and baby age stamps.
Do my photos leave my device?
No. Photo conversion, previews, and exports happen in your browser. Signing in or checking Pro access does not upload your photos.
How do I select the original iPhone file?
Choose the original from the Files app when you want to keep its HEIC format. The Photos picker may provide a JPEG instead; the editor accepts that too.
